Terms of party membership
By applying for membership of PIOC, you agree to accept and conform to the constitution, programme, principles and policy of the Party; to hold your membership at the address where you reside; and, if eligible, to be registered as an elector at that address.
You confirm that you are not a member of another registered political party or an organisation incompatible with PIOC membership. If you remain a member of another political party, your vote within PIOC will be invalid.
Provisional membership rights commence when your membership is recorded on the membership list. The provisional period lasts eight weeks unless extended by the Committee. During that period you may attend PIOC meetings in a non-voting capacity. Membership may be rejected, with written notification and, depending on the reason, a possible right of appeal.
